Job Purpose
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily airport operations, ensuring seamless coordination between service providers, authorities, and senior management.
Develop and implement airport passenger handling strategies aligned with flight schedules and operational demands.
Manage manpower planning, especially during peak seasons, holidays, and additional flight operations.
Act as the primary liaison for all QR airport operations at Budapest International Airport.
Provide strategic input for service improvements and operational changes.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
Represent Qatar Airways at Airport Operations Committee (AOC) meetings.
Lead and motivate airport staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Coordinate with OneWorld partner airlines for support during operational disruptions or crises.
Supervise the Aircraft Turnaround Check (ATC) process to ensure ground safety and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in airport operations.
Proven managerial experience in an airline or airport setting.
Strong background in crisis management and emergency response.
Extensive knowledge of airline operations, customer service, and safety protocols.
Excellent English communication and report-writing skills.
Strong leadership, delegation, and team management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
